REGION 2: SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL AMERICA
RESIDENTIAL / PROFESSIONAL UNITS
Leading edge solutions that guarantee the highest catch rates make VECTOTHOR Flying Insect Killer Light Traps the premium choice for HACCP food management programs, the hospitality industry, hospitals, indeed for anyone who wants peak performance in their flying insect management program.
Vectothor’s scientifically designed fly traps are the premium choice in tourism and food packaging facilities in Southern and Central America. Our HACCP-compliant electronic pest control solutions are targeted at the house fly vision spectrum (UV-A, 300-420 nm) to maximise catch rates.
Our lamps also exhibit a far greater attraction because of their high electronic pulse (up to 10,000 cycles per second) so insects can see a natural and constant beam of light. To further improve performance, we employ Natural Contrast Grids that mimic how flies seek food in tropical forests and take advantage of the housefly’s evolutionary biology.
Our premium electric bug zappers are rigorously tested and analysed in our research facilities (including university laboratories). Our ongoing and long-term flying insect control solutions are also cost-effective because the lamps can last up to 9,000 hours of continuous use (one year).
Even in harsh and corrosive environments, there should be effective fly control programs in place. This is especially important in the main industries of Central America (agriculture, tourism) and South America (sugar, coffee, beef, oil, natural gas, petroleum), which is why our units are now found in Chile, Panama, Costa Rica, Argentina, Uruguay and other locations.
We have units that can cover at least 160 square metres (ideal for large industrial areas). With powder-coated metal housings and temperature-optimised glueboards, our fly traps are sure to catch the highest number of flies while enduring the harsh environments of many commercial facilities.
