AVITHOR WX-J DETERRENT BIRD SPIKES

AVITHOR WX-J spikes form a virtually invisible barrier when viewed from the ground, to deter birds from landing or nesting on protected surfaces.

PROTECTS All types of buildings, any type of surface - ledges, roosting spots, chimneys, windows etc. against pigeons, sea gulls and other medium to large sized birds.

PROFILE Highest-quality 304 Stainless Steel, Spike Diameter 1.3 mm; with UV Stabilized Polycarbonate Base 85 mm Low Height, 125 mm Height, 165 mm Width, 500 mm Length.

Carton contains 100 x 500 mm runs (total 50 m), weight approx 12 kg.

Jointly pliable to avoid injuring birds whilst preventing landing. Base 90% virgin-polycarboate to ensure longevity.

World first jointed spike to ensure secure adhesion and keep spikes in place. Securely join spikes strips together.

FITTING

AVITHOR WX-J can be fitted to all surfaces - zinc, wood, stone, concrete, reinforced concrete, cement mortar, marble etc.

Optimum weather conditions: Temperatures 2° C to 30° C sheltered from rain.

Preparation of the surface: Cleaning with AVITHOR GUANAWAY™. This is ESSENTIAL. Remove all bird droppings, dust, dirt and grease and allow surfaces to dry. Secure with high quality Selfixing Silicone Sealant. If required, apply a primer on porous surfaces. Alternatively it can be secured with screws or nails.
