Pest Science 2026

2026 FAOPMA Sustainability Award Winner - Pest Science, Philippines

Congratulations to Pest Science Corporation of the Philippines on winning the 2026 FAOPMA Sustainability Award. Pest Science brings a strong commitment to environmental responsibility, employee safety and community service.

Central to its nomination was the BioPrestige Program, launched in December 2023. The program combines AI-assisted pest monitoring with preventive measures and targeted treatments to reduce reliance on broad-spectrum spraying. By tracking pest activity, chemical use and treatment frequency, the company aims to make sustainability a measurable part of everyday service delivery.

Across its operations, Pest Science supports this approach through regular staff training and certified management systems covering quality, environmental management and occupational health and safety. Clients receive pest trend data and service reports to help them understand
treatment decisions and opportunities for prevention.

Beyond its commercial work, the company supports the Little Angels Home Foundation and partners with the Rotary Club of Pasay Southeast on community health and environmental projects.

These include free pest control and sanitation treatments in selected schools, health centres and public facilities.

Together, these initiatives demonstrate the breadth of Pest Science’s approach: reducing environmental impact, supporting its people and extending professional pest management to communities with limited access to these services.

Sustainability isn’t a slogan for Pest Science - it’s a measurable, everyday practice that protects the environment, supports their people and strengthens the communities they serve.
